"SOZO" - is a Greek word meaning to make new, to protect, to save, to heal, to preserve, to have faith, to make whole, to love, to make joyous, and to have control.
Theresa is the Executive Director at Sozo Family Services. She's a proponent of women's health and has dedicated herself to not only treating women but also educating them about the issues affecting their quality of life. She is personally involved in the training and development of all staff at Sozo Family Services to ensure that every person receives the highest level of care. She is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Counselor and a Certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider, to provide complimentary alternative medicine.

Future Plans: To expand from outpatient services to also providing inpatient treatment and halfway house for women and young girls who are at risk for homelessness, domestic violence and sex trafficking. Services would include trauma-focused, gender specific treatment to address mental health/substance abuse needs.
